Member of the Supervisory Board
Mr Donald Chodak, aged 51, graduated from the Poznan University of Economics, the Faculty of Planning and Management, in 1983. From 1983 to 1993, he was a research worker at the Institute of Management at the Poznan University of Economics. At the same time, he conducted advisory activities in the field of organisation and management and held the position of a receiver and liquidator of enterprises at the request of the ownership supervision authorities of the state treasury, in the transport as well as fuel wholesale and retail industries. From 1993, he managed a consulting firm, MCGway-Management Consulting Group which advised enterprises operating in the spirits industry and on the fuel market. In the years 1997–2001, he held the position of a Management Board Member for Finance at Telekomunikacja Polska S.A., where he was responsible for managing the company’s finances and accounting, investor relations and ownership supervision over companies in the capital group. At Telekomunikacja Polska S.A., on behalf of the Management Board, he managed the privatisation processes which the company underwent. At the same time, from 2001 to 2002, he held the position of a supervisory board member of PTK Centertel and TP Internet — companies belonging to the Telekomunikacja Polska capital group. From 2002, he conducted independent expert activities in the scope of strategy and finance, and coordinated the management of projects in cooperation with such companies as Detecon & Diebold Consultants, Ernst & Young, and Kroll Worldwide. He held positions in the supervisory boards of: Bank Zachodni (1998–1999), Secus Asset Management S.A. (2005–2006) and Betacom S.A. (2007–2009). Currently, he holds a position in the management board of Summa Energy S.A., with its registered seat in Luxembourg (since 2007), a holding company operating in the raw materials market (industry metals and energy resources markets in West Africa), and in the supervisory bodies of: Sunset Suits Holdings Inc., with its registered seat in Nevada, the United States (a company which reports to the United States Securities & Exchange Commission) and Provide Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych S.A. (since 2008). He has been member of the Supervisory Board of the Company since 30 June 2011. His mandate expires in 2013 on the day of holding the Annual General Meeting approving the financial statements for the year 2012. |
