Introduction of shares to trading on the WSE

In accordance with Par. 34.1.2 and 34.1.3 of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance dated February 19th 2009 on current and periodic information to be published by issuers of securities and conditions for recognising as equivalent information required by the laws of a non-member state, The Management Board of PETROLINVEST S.A. (the "Company") announces that today the Company has received the resolution of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange ("WSE") dated 18 January 2010, stating that the following ordinary bearer Company shares, each of a nominal value of PLN 10, have been admitted to trading on the main list. - 70,800 series P shares; - 1,453,571 series T shares; and - 2,503,628 series U shares. Pursuant to the same resolution, the Management Board of the WSE also resolved to introduce the aforementioned shares in the Company, in the ordinary course of action, to public trading on the main list as from 20 January 2010; provided, however, that the National Depository for Securities registers the shares on 20 January 2010 and assigns them the code "PLPTRLI00018".
