Decision Reached Regarding Exploration and Production Companies in Russia

With reference to the current reports No. 14/2007 and 27/2007, the Management Board of Petrolinvest S.A. (hereinafter: "the Company") hereby announces that on 3 December 2007 it has informed the Group of Exploration and Production Companies (hereinafter: “the Group”), referred to in the current reports listed above, that it has suspended negotiations concerning the acquisition of the Group’s shares.

(hereinafter: "the Company") hereby announces that on 30 November 2007 it has received information on the signing on 29 November 2007 by EmbaYugNeft, in which the Company holds a 50% stake, with the Kazakh Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Annex No. 1 to the Agreement for the Exploration and Production of crude oil.

In reference to the publication entitled "Krauze's Motive" by the "Dziennik" daily newspaper, I would like to state as follows:Petrolinvest is the first Polish prospecting and production company which had its debut at the Warsaw Stock Exchange. It is a pioneering project because never before have the market and the analysts had an opportunity to evaluate such a business model. It is worth emphasising that there are many such companies at London, Canadian and New York Stock Exchanges and they certainly do not stir up such emotions.

Results of sampling of the well in Zhubantam licensed territory in Kazakhstan

The Management Board of PETROLINVEST S.A. (hereinafter the "Company") is pleased to announce that on September 22, 2007 it was informed of the first inflow of crude oil from a 5-metre thick horizon during the sampling of the G-4D well by EmbaYugNeft in the Zhubantam licensed site. The estimated registered output of that horizon is 40 bbl per day.

Tests carried out in the licensed Zhubantam territory point to presence of oil resources, the Management Board of Petrolinvest S.A. has announced on a press conference held in Warsaw. Similar tests are underway in the two remaining licensed areas – OTG and Dautskoye.
