1991 Establishment of a partnership named Polpetrol by the present Shareholders. Polpetrol’s business activities involved wholesale of crude oil and fuel oils.
1995 Formation of Petrolinvest Sp. z o.o., a company focusing on LPG sales and, to a far smaller extent, wholesale of crude oil.
1997 Acquisition of shares in Mockavos Perpyla, a Lithuanian company with a railway terminal on the Polish border with Lithuania.
1999 Launch of the Gas Distribution Plant in Suwalki.
2001 Signing of a long-term lease agreement and the launch of the Company’s LPG Sea Terminal in Gdynia.
2004 Launch of the Gas Distribution Plant in Łubiana near Kościerzyna.
2005 Decision to change the Company’s strategy to focus on developing oil and gas exploration and production activities.
2006 Commencement of an investment project involving the expansion of the LPG Sea Terminal in Gdynia and signing of agreements whereby the Company acquired shares in certain companies based in Russia and Kazakhstan and holding licenses for the exploration and production of hydrocarbons.
December 2006 Transformation into a public limited company.
2006-2007 Expansion of the exploration and production investment portfolio through the acquisition of shares in companies holding exploration or exploration and prodution licenses in Kazakhstan and the Komi Republic (Russian Federation).
