On 13 May 2011, Jacek Kluczkowski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland in Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic paid a visit to the Shyrak 1 drill site. During the visit, he was accompanied by the President of the Management Board of Petrolinvest S.A. Bertrand Le Guern, the Member of the Management Board Franciszek Krok, the Geology Director Michał Myśliwiec and the Chief Executive Officer of OilTechnoGroup Suleimen Sariyev.  

Mr Ambassador got acquainted with the works which have been conducted so far, the organisation of work at the drill site as well as the potential and outlooks for Petrolinvest in Kazakhstan.
During the visit, a core barrel was running into the well to take the drill core which made it possible for the guests to see the surface part of the whole operation.
During the second part of the visit, Ambassador Kluczkowski visited the headquarters of the OilTechnoGroup where he met the employees of the company.
