The Management Board of PETROLINVEST S.A. (the “Company”), with reference to current report No. 73/2010 of 9 September 2010, in which the Company informed the public on the appointment of Mr Bertrand Le Guern to hold the post of the President of the Management Board of the Company for the period of the current three-year term of office and on the positive opinion of the Supervisory Board on entrusting Mr Bertrand Le Guern with the duties of the President of the Management Board of the Company for the period of one year following the day of his appointment, announces that on 12 September 2011 the Supervisory Board of the Company gave a positive opinion on Mr Bertrand Le Guern further performing the duties of the President of the Management Board of the Company.
The Supervisory Board of the Company positively acknowledged the achievements of the Company’s Management Board presided over by Mr Bertrand Le Guern, including:
* defining the Company’s new development strategy and implementing it efficiently, in particular by expanding the Company’s activities in the field of exploration and production of shale gas (acquisition of Silurian Sp. z o.o., gaining an industry partner and creating a joint venture, i.e. Silurian Hallwood Ltd.) and in the field of renewable energy sources, which will enable the Company to sufficiently diversify its activities and acquire additional financing for the development of its exploration and production activities in Kazakhstan;
* organising and managing the exploratory drilling process on the Shyrak structure whose results indicate the discovery of a large hydrocarbon field. Download current report no. 95/2011 |
