Ryszard Krauze, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Petrolinvest SA, and Paweł Gricuk, President of the Management Board of Petrolinvest SA, gave a presentation about the Company’s exploration and production activities and its growth strategy at a meeting held at the WSE. The meeting was attended by, among others, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Poland, stock exchange analysts, investment fund and bank officials, energy market experts and the media. The presentation was about the situation in the oil market, the reserves in the Timan-Petchora Basin and Kazakhstan, market trends, oil consumption, location of the Petrolinvest license areas, oil transport routes and many others.

The Petrolinvest presentation took place in the Warsaw Stock Exchange building on 19 June 2007, on the day its issue prospectus was made available to the general public. The meeting was opened by Ryszard Krauze, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Petrolinvest SA. He affirmed his commitment to the project and assured that he would be involved in it for a long time. ‘I believe in this project,’ Ryszard Krauze said at the opening of the meeting. Paweł Gricuk, President of the Management Board, spoke about the investments made, exploitation prospects of the Company and its development and exploration plans. Alexey Volkov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Poland, was a special guest at the meeting.

And Stefan Geroń, an experienced geologist and crude oil explorer for more than 30 years, said that he was convinced that the investment in the licenses purchased by Petrolinvest SA was a good idea and that he expected that the exploratory activities would bring success in about a dozen months.

The presentation was followed by a press conference attended by a few dozen journalists from, among others, Financial Times, Rzeczpospolita, Dziennik, Gazeta Wyborcza, Parkiet, Gazeta Prawna, Puls Biznesu, and news agencies: Bloomberg, Reuters, Thompson.
